A superb and very popular pepper plant, the Lemon drop or Ají Limón comes from Peru. With bright yellow pods that start out green it has a tangy citrus flavour and is frequently used as a seasoning pepper; you can dry the pods and make powder or flakes.
On the heat scale the Lemon Drop comes in around 40,000 – 75,000 SHU on the Scoville scale is its hot to very hot region.
