This variety was developed by selectively saving the finest seeds from the Naga Morich until achieving a specific pod phenotype. It remains an attractive and flavoursome pepper.

When planted directly in the soil and provided with optimal growing conditions, it can reach heights of over 2 meters. When grown in pots, it still thrives, though it may not be as prolific as it is when planted in the ground.
