Devils Tongue Chilli Seeds – Rare Red Variety – 15 Fresh Seeds

A red version of the Yellow Devils tongue this pepper really lives up to its name with some of the pods really looking like a tongue, we try to only grow the devils tongue of previous pods that had a good tongue look to them.

Sometimes you can be lucky as the red variety sometimes throws out a few yellow pods and also some quite dark chocolate pods. I think it’s the devil at work.

The Devils Tongue is a habanero type pepper and is as hot as the devil itself. The pods start out green and eventually ripen do a deep waxy red colour

On the heat scale the Red Devils Tongue comes in at around 400,000 – 600,000 SHU.
